Taller del go “Milky Way Program” – Fundación Casa Wabi
The artist Mohamed Namou developed a game in the community of Rio Grande.
To achieve the main objective, the concept of the Chinese game Go was shown, in addition to explaining the philosophy surrounding the game and its history. Related topics such as Taoism, I-Ching, and strategy games were discussed.
In the next sessions different communities were visited to make the clay pieces, the boards and all the necessary process to reach the desired design.
Finally, a session was held to explain the rules of the game, putting into practice everything learned through a series of meetings between students and the artist.
