Milko Delgado

Community Project

His project aimed to facilitate a creative process by using audiovisual techniques, play, dance, and movement to reimagine the dance of the devils (danza de los diablos) through an approach to other artistic practices. The dance of the devils is performed in the region on the Day of the Dead and holds a significant place in the collective imagination. Delgado’s research allowed the participants to understand it from different perspectives and propose creative elements such as costumes, staging, and set design.

Filmed in various locations, the result of this project is a video that reflects the experience of creation and reinterpretation.
