With the project “sighting of Mr. moon,” Matthias sought to motivate the participating children
to create semblances of “Mr. Moon.” Masks, derived from found objects, drawings, personal objects or any other means in the personal environment.
The children were asked to elaborate on the articles they have chosen to evoke the narrative aspect as a matter of artistic perception. How are things loaded with meaning?
