Jardín Arado – Puerto Escondido
The idea of the project was to create a Zen garden for the facilities of the Puerto Escondido Autism Center. This garden is designed as a tool that can be used to carry out stimulation exercises and encourage the creativity of the children who attend this space.
The installation is delimited with a palm curtain brought from San Isidro Llano Grande, the framing of the sandbox is made up of partitions created in an artisanal way in the community of Agua Zarca, the wooden tools to make the drawings on the sand were manufactured in the El Venado community and the sand and stones from the garden were brought from the river in the Hidalgo community; This piece is in some way an overview of the communities with which the foundation works continuously.
