Community Project

Swiss Design Award
The Swiss designer worked with local clay from the community of Agua Zarca to create reinterpreted pieces of traditional dishes in the area, preserving the simplicity and naturalness of the material. He also worked with local artisans to develop tools that will make the production processes of these traditional utensils on the coast of Oaxaca more efficient.
The tableware and tools made by Laurin Schaub are presented at Fundación Casa Wabi – Santa María in Mexico City from 9 to 30 October 2018.
