Artist duo based in Brazil.
Laura Gorski and Renata Cruz have been working together since 2015. They received, in 2016, the 20º English Culture Festival prize for the realization of the “Dias úteis” installation, built from the work of the writer Virgínia Woolf, also presented at the Sesc São Carlos. They will participate in 2016, of the exhibition “Porque somos eles e elas” curated by Josué Mattos at the Blau Projects gallery in São Paulo. In 2017, they will carry out together with the public the work “Caminhos, para nos fazerem parentes do futuro”, for the exhibition “Geografias, nosso lugar é caminho” curator of Bernardo Mosquera at Sesc Santos. The same action was done at the Rolo Fair, also in Santos, with the participation of the public. In 2017 they will participate in the LABVERDE residence in the Reserva Adolpho Ducke, in Manaus, and will return in 2018 for new residence, offices, char-la in the INPA library (Instituto Nacional de Pesquisa da Amazônia) and the exhibition “Biblioteca do Casarão – map aberto à viagem” in the Casarão De Ideias. In 2019 they will present the installation “RESERVA – O abismo não us separaciones, ele nos cerca” and will launch the book of the same name in the Espaço Cultural Porto Seguro in São Paulo, as part of the exhibition Novas Efervescências.
