Bandera En Movimiento
From the understanding that art is capable of generating links between different ideas and concepts to intertwine new ecologies of knowledge, Bandera en Movimiento will use the pole, the flag, and the amalgamation of these elements, as a space with the capacity to stimulate and promote an alternative notion of identity and that stimulates through a process of collective imagination.
The project will be approached through collective workshop in which the students of the school contribute with drawings and thoughts to design and produce a representative flag of the school community.
The methodology that I plan to implement is one that is based on an austere production mode which can be replicated in the future, in order to ideally generate a project that can become part of the dynamics of the school. Within the logic of flexibility and movement, the project suggests the creation of an ephemeral flag, with validity. This idea seeks to stimulate the understanding of a changing and permissible identity.
