The objective of the workshop was to show the participants the written documents that they should include in their project presentation folders to obtain funds in the coproduction forums or to be able to enter the international film festivals.
During the first session, Dane presented his short “Phantasiesätze” and a teaser of his last feature film; at the end of the screening, the material was discussed and a comparison was made between the final product and the script that Dane used before filming. He showed how to put together a script, a synopsis, the director’s manifesto and the moodwork to show how the film will look and listen. In the second session, each participant was asked to make a presentation of their budding film projects, and an open pitch was made emulating the coproduction forums where they received feedback so they could obtain the necessary funds to bring those projects to a successful conclusion.
