Spanish curator and critic. She presented exhibitions internationally in cities like New York, London, and Madrid. From 2009 to 2013, she served as chief curator at ARTIUM, Centro-Museo Vasco de Arte Contemporáneo (Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain) where she presented the first retrospective exhibitions of artists like Regina José Galindo, Katarina Zdejar and Enrique Chagoya, as well as group exhibitions like “Video(s)torias” and “Montaje de Atracciones”. At ARTIUM she directed projects with artists like Esther Ferrer, Jaime Davidovich, Santiago Sierra and Ignasi Aballí, among others. During her tenure she conceived new expansive programmes like PRAXIS, based on recycling, process practices and the DIY culture, where more than 15 international artists took part, as well as the site specific project from Grey Flag or Mutatis Mutandis.
Between 2014 and 2015 she curated Eugenio Ampudia’s solo show for the Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas in Madrid, Spain. She was co-curator at the exhibition trilogy “Invisible Violence” that was presented at MoCAB (Belgrade, Serbia), ARTIUM (Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain) and Salzburger Kunstverein (Salzburg, Austria). Her critical texts have been included in numerous international publications like the Spanish pavilion catalogue for the 56th Venice Biennial, the Greece pavilion catalogue for The Prague Quadennial of Performance Design, and Space 2015 and magazines like INPUT (New York, USA) and Arte al Día Internacional (Miami, USA), among others. She also participated at a variety of talks, workshops, curatorial residencies and international symposiums.
Currently she is preparing projects for EFA Project Space (New York, USA), ARTIUM (Vitoria, Spain), MACO (Oaxaca, Mexico) and Centro de las Artes (Monterrey, México) among others.
