Community Project
Hablarnos escucharnos – Comunidad de Cacalotepec, Cooperativa de Producción y Servicios Ecoturísticos Playa de Cacalote.
This workshop was formed by 5 sessions of approximately 2:30 hrs each. It was carried out in the town of Cacalotepec, approximately 45 minutes from Puerto Escondido towards Pinotepa Nacional. The participants were children from the age of 8 to 17, mostly children of members of the Playa del Cacalote Eco-tourism Production and Services Cooperative. The workshop was mainly aimed at children and adolescents.
Each of the exercises that made up the workshop dynamics included dialogue, observation, exploration, and collaboration. As a newspaper, each of the participants recorded in drawing what was said there, what they thought and what happened there. It was unnecessary to talk about techniques or formalities; the condition was to draw as much as possible and share with the other workshop participants a few words about why it was chosen to draw or write what was drawn or written.
