Community Project

Joint Factory At Pottery Factory At Casa Wabi – Escuela Primaria Jaime Nuno y Escuela Primaria Lizandro Calderón, Río Grande.
The project consisted of the creation of a board game invented by the resident. The game’s objective is to invite the children to create paths that connect different elements within the board. In the process, the teamwork is fomented and a new understanding of strategic thinking is provided.
The game is made of clay manufactured in an artisanal manner in the Agua Zarca workshops. Many games sessions were imparted in the schools, and a paper version was prepared to give to the participating institutions

After working as a designer, Hayashi graduated from the department of fine arts of Kyoto City University of Arts in 2001. Born and raised in a small-town workshop located in an industrial quarter of east Osaka, Hayashi uses mass produced industrial components, particularly those of a modular nature, to create installations, paintings, sculptures, and photographs through various methods. These site-specific works can be extended in space when an individual or members of the public engage with them in a playful manner
