Begope – COBAO #25, Río Grande
The project consists of a large mosaic floor located within the school garden, to serve as a meeting point and reference within the campus.
This mosaic is created by clay plates, which together form the image of a large snake. It is intended that this space can be used for theatrical performances, conviviality, meeting area or outdoor classroom.

Theo Michael is a generalist with a compulsion for vandalized seascapes and recycled polyurethane foam. Through his works he travels far away to prehistoric seas and absurd futuristic landscapes in order to get a clearer perspective about what is happening on Earth today.
He is mostly known for his graphite drawings of rough seas and extinct creatures which expose conflicted feelings about civilization itself and the state of the environment.
His practice can also be seen as a critique of speciesism. He maintains that the reason that bacteria, bees, fish and humans don’t have equal standing is the main driver behind the current climate and pollution emergency.
