Community Project

Based on a bibliographic research and various interviews with key community members, Capote and Castro created a mural at the Municipal Agency of Puerto Escondido. Seeking to depict representative elements of the city and the region, they incorporated motifs of flora, fauna, and inhabitants of the territory, while also showcasing historical processes. The result was a piece that references the biological and cultural diversity of the area.

Furthermore, Capote conducted a creative workshop on painting, drawing, and illustration with children from the Aguaje el Zapote community. During the sessions, a free and safe space was created to foster creative expression, experimentation, and enjoyment.
