Locos Locos Cocodrilos – Escuela Primaria Benito Juárez, Aguaje El Zapote
The project proposed a sculptural intervention made of wood and rope nets that imitates a large crocodile, a characteristic animal from the mangrove area. The space is designed as a play area, meeting point or outdoor classroom and public readings.

    José Porras has a Visual Art bachelors from the ENAP UNAM, and with the Jumex Foundation support, he graduated as a Master in Artistic Production from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, in 2010, where he obtained an Honorary Mention for his “Ola ganando espacio” project. In his work, he explores sculpture as a useful object, accessible to any spectator, mainly through the relationship between the body and the space, the materiality and the actions captures in video and photography.
