Visual artist and dancer, she studied classic ballet and contemporary dance in Mexico City; she got her BFA at ENAP, UNAM, Mexico City and she did advanced theatre and dance studies at Das Arts in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Her work stands in the border between dance and visual arts. The register of movement and the passage of time, the presence of the body on stage and its projection on architecture are the core of her projects, which are mainly developed in performance, video and drawing.
Her most recent performances are: Líneas Tectónicas.(2014), International Dance Festival Oc-ohtic Mérida. Tres circuitos en un patio emocional, Museo Experimental El Eco (2014), Zona de Penumbra, Secuencias en la arquitectura. Hospicio Cabañas, Patio de las Culturas Populares, First National Dance Encounter, Guadalajara (2014),Estudios del espacio dentro del espacio, de otros estudios, de otros espacios, Museo Tamayo (2014), Walk on cracked land (2013), Center for Visual Communication in Wynwood, Miami; Paisaje abstracto (2013) Museo Universitario del Chopo and Black Box CNA, México; Zona de Penumbra (2012) Ex Teresa Arte Actual México and Punto de Fuga (2010) Laboratorio Arte Alameda.
Among her individual exhibitions are Notaciones de compás, Casa Abierta al Tiempo, UAM (2012), Movimientos Fósiles, Sala de Arte Público Siqueiros (2009). Nationally she has participated in exhibitions at Museo de Arte Moderno, Bellas Artes, Museo Universitario del Chopo, Museo Carrillo Gil, Sala de Arte Público Siqueiros, Laboratorio Arte Alameda, la Galeria Metropolitana among others. She has participated on international exhibitions in Belgium, Bulgaria, U.S.A., Canada and France.
For many years she has been teaching the workshop on Drawing and Movement.
