Community Project

Nano Jardín – Escuela Primaria Benito Juárez, Aguaje El Zapote
Landscaping work was carried out on the entire school grounds. Special emphasis was placed on the flagpole area so that civic ceremonies can be carried out in a better way. Additionally, a labyrinth made up of aromatic plants is created so that children are introduced to different flowers and trees from the local ecosystem.

My interest for bonsai trees is born from my genuine love for the craft of planting and nurturing trees. I feel fortunate to have been able to pursue such craft, as I know that not everyone has the opportunity nor the space or means to care for trees. This is why I see bonsai trees as the perfect medium, due to the fact that native and endangered tree species, including some of larger proportions, can be cared for and nurtured in a small bonsai form, thus making them accessible to many more people. I also consider the bonsai, at its core, to be a promoter of discipline, environmental consciousness, and natural beauty.
