Oleaje – Escuela Primaria Lázaro Cárdenas, Río Grande
Sculptural and playful intervention within the green areas at the Lázaro Cárdenas Elementary School in Río Grande. Under the shade of a large parota tree, a game circuit was formed consisting of sand dunes, swings, trapezoids, a game of wooden blocks to form words or poems and a mural at one of the buildings.

Francisco Merino earned a bachelor in Psychology and a Masters degree in Education. Merino studied paining in Taller Rufino Tamayo Oaxaca (2008), drawing and printmaking in the Academia de San Carlos FAD/UNAM (2014), Contemporary Art in the Demián Flores’ studio (2015) and produces graphic work in the Non toxic Printmaking School in the Centro de las Artes de San Agustín (2015), he learned ceramics in “Cuatlicue” /Atzompa y “Manos que Ven” / Ocotlán (2015). His work studies the restoration of his own psyche, finding through reconstructive ceramics (Kintsugi), a metaphor to resilience.
