Community Project
El Libro De La Ciudad De Las Damas- COBAO plantel 25, Río Grande
The project focused on working with teenage women from the high school. They were taught about Cristina de Pizan’s work titled “El libro de la ciudad de las damas”.
The central idea of the project was to imagine a city inhabited only by remarkable women within Mexico’s history, from their community (Río Grande), and within the participants’ personal lives. Drawings of these women were made in the plates to simulate the bricks of the new ladies city.
