Ángel Vergara

– Casa wabi 2022

Community Project

The community project consisted of a textile mural created using work clothes worn by construction workers in the area. Vergara, adopting the persona of Callejero, attended various construction sites near the Foundation. Through a performance, Callejero painted on the canvas with a covered head, leaving a trace of the emotions generated by their perception of sounds, environment, and interactions happening around them. The canvas was then displayed in a public space, and the construction workers also participated in the project.
