Ana was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, where she worked professionally as an actor. Alongside she studied art in multiple forms. After completing her degree on Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon, she sold everything to move to London and study filmmaking at London Film School where she finds her deepest direction as a filmmaker and where she completes her master’s degree as a film director in December 2013.
Along her path she directed fiction films and documentaries. In 2020 and 2021 her debut fiction feature, LISTEN, premiered in multiple international film festivals. around the globe
