Guayacán Pavilion
2018
Designed by Mexican Studio Ambrosi-Etchegaray, the pavilion was built with the purpose of protect, caring for and continuing the reproduction of the Guaiacum coulteri species (Guayacán). The project invites visitors to enter the ground, generating paths below ground level to interact with the vegetation in the subsoil. The outline of the pavilion allows one to perceive the temperature and humidity of the environment, shows the flow of the wind, and accentuates water.
