Graciela Hasper was born in Buenos Aires in 1966. She studied at Diana Aisenberg’s workshop (1988-1991) and completed the Kuitca-Fundación Antorchas Scholarship (1991-1993). She participated in the Art Omi residencies, New York (1997); Apex Art, New York (2000) with a Fulbright grant-National Endowment for the Arts; Chinati Foundation, Marfa (2002) and The Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center Residency, Italy (2005). A selection of site-specific facilities includes: Catalinas Station of the Buenos Aires Subway (2019); Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires (2017); Faena Forum, Miami (2016); Notes from Luz, Usina del Arte, Buenos Aires (2016) and Project Row Houses, Houston (2003). She showed individually in New York, Houston, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Miami, Marseille and Texas. In 2013 the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires presented its retrospective show Gramatica del Color, curated by Victoria Noorthoorn. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including: Luminous Tactics. Women artists around the Rojas gallery, Fortabat Museum, Buenos Aires (2019); Formwork, MACBA, Buenos Aires (2017); Recovering Beauty, Blanton Museum, Austin (2011) and Beginning with a Bang!, Americas Society, New York (2007). Her work is part of public and private collections: National Museum of Fine Arts, Argentina, Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires, Museum Fine Arts Houston, Malba Constantini Foundation, Buenos Aires, Castagnino Museum, Rosario, Museum of Contemporary Art of Buenos Aires, Contemporary Art Museum, Madrid, Philadelphia Art Museum, Banco Supervielle, Buenos Aires, Francis J.
