We are pleased to announce that filmmaker Francisco Rodríguez Teare has been awarded the 2025 ESCINE – Casa Wabi Residency Prize. This recognition follows his recent achievement at the 73rd San Sebastián International Film Festival, where he received the Best Project Award at the XIV Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum of the Industry Awards for his project No me dejen morir solo.
This award, presented for the second time in collaboration between Fundación Casa Wabi and ESCINE, offers the recipient the opportunity to take part in a residency at Casa Wabi, Puerto Escondido (Mexico). During his stay, Francisco will have the chance to develop a project in dialogue with resident artists and local communities, fostering interaction, interdisciplinary exchange, and cultural enrichment.
