Camel Collective

....Anthony Graves y Carla Herrera-Prats colaboran juntos como Camel Collective desde 2010. Su práctica se articula a través de performance, video, escultura y fotografía para crear obras que describen el trabajo contemporáneo, el poder y la producción. Su lenguaje visual parte de la investigación de historias marginales y del legado de la pedagogía crítica, nutriéndose del teatro y de la filosofía.

Entre sus principales exposiciones y performances se encuentran: La distancia de Pontresina a Zermatt es la misma que la de Zermatt a Pontresina, Museo Universitario de Arte Contemporáneo, MUAC, Ciudad de México (2017); Something Other Than What You Are, en REDCAT, Los Ángeles (2016); The Second World Congress of Free Artists, Casa del Lago, en la Ciudad de México (2013); Una obra para dos pinturas, presentada en la Trienal Poli/Gráfica de San Juan, San Juan (2012); A Facility Based on Change, Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, MassMoCA, Nueva Inglaterra (2011) y Howls for Bologna, Overgaden Institut for Samtidskunst, Copenague (2010). Además, su trabajo se ha mostrado en Artists Space, Art in General, Exit Art, en Nueva York y la Sala de Arte Público Siqueiros, en la Ciudad de México.

..Anthony Graves and Carla Herrera-Prats have worked together as Camel Collective since 2010. Their works combine performance, video, sculpture, and photography in order to think through the contradictions of contemporary labor, and the myths of cultural production, bringing together collaborators from a variety of professions. Their practice is motivated by research into marginal histories and critical pedagogies, learning from theater and philosophy.
